Tsuyu is often used as a dip with 1-2 tablespoons of grated giant radish when serving tempura. It contributes with a mild flavor filled with umami and makes smoky hot tempura extremely delicious.
This tsuyu is made from konbu, Japanese seaweed, but still contains seafood ingredients.
